Engineering assemblies for industry

We manufacture steel structures, welded assemblies, machine components, and support and base frames. These are also used in wood, steel and aluminium processing equipment.

Four types of engineering assemblies

Black welded steel assembly with ribs

Steel structures

Structural parts of industrial equipment that form its load-bearing structure or spatial framework. They are built according to their intended purpose and the technical documentation.

Welded assemblies

Assemblies formed by welding steel components together. Requirements for subsequent machining and surface treatment are part of the specification.

Support and base frames

Frames form the base or load-bearing part of equipment and provide an interface for other components. Mating surfaces, connections and the required geometry are key details for an enquiry.

Machine components

Components intended as parts of a larger machine or production assembly. Material, machining and required properties are specified in the technical documentation.

Operations tailored to the assembly

Our manufacturing programme includes material cutting and forming, welding, machining, heat treatment and surface treatment. The required operations and their sequence depend on the individual assembly.

What to prepare for your enquiry

Include any requirements that are critical for supplier approval.

  • The assembly's purpose, assembly and component drawings with revision numbers, and a model and bill of materials where available.
  • Material and material documentation requirements.
  • Dimensions and weight, if known; tolerances, surface roughness and functional surfaces as specified.
  • Required welding, machining, heat treatment and surface treatment.
  • Quantity, any repeat orders and the required delivery date.
  • Required tests, reports, delivery condition, packaging and delivery location.

System and process certificates are listed under Quality and certificates.

Frequently asked questions

What do you mean by an engineering assembly?

A steel structure, welded assembly, frame or machine component used as part of industrial equipment.

Does your programme also include machining and painting?

Yes, our manufacturing programme includes machining and wet painting. Include the requirements for your specific product in the technical specification.

What information should I send for repeat orders?

Specify the quantity per delivery, expected repeat orders and required delivery dates. Attach the current revision of the documentation.

Preparing a manufacturing specification?

Tell us what you need manufactured, what it will be used for and in what quantity. Add any available documentation, the required delivery date and any requirements for surface treatment or accompanying documents.
